1987 - Foundation of WIGHA Elektronische Gasmesstechnik GmbH in Eching near Munich

Start of production and sales of the first mass flow meters and controllers based on the bypass measurement principle

1992 - Renaming to Manger + Wittmann Elektronische Gasmesstechnik GmbH and location move to Garching nearby

1995 - Enlarged product range on the basis of direct through-flow measurement

1997 - Take-over of our company by the Dutch Bronkhorst High-Tech B.V.

1998 - Market entry with new product series D-62xx (direct through-flow measurement) and D-51xx (bypass measurement) under the new trade mark MASS-STREAMTM

2002 - Renaming to M+W Instruments GmbH

M+W Instruments GmbH
2004 - Location move to Leonhardsbuch 35 km north of Munich

2005 - Certification acc. to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000

2009 Market entry with the new digital product series D-6300 (direct through-flow measurement) under the trade mark MASS-STREAMTM
2010 Silver Gas Award for the new digital product series D-6300 for an innovative new product in the category Mass Flow Measurement & Control, conferred by the US publication Gases & Instrumentation International during the US-fair Pittcon 2010
